As part of the Operations Directorate staff, you’ll be a valued team member using your expertise to analyze and solve complex operational and training challenges.  Your background in military operations will be vital to the team as your experience and critical thinking will support the Marine Corps’ mission to provide ready forces. You Have:

• Experience working with key stakeholders to improve operational and training processes and procedures

• Experience generating official military correspondence

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Knowledge of orders and regulations that direct a unit’s actions

• Ability to pay strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact with and brief the organization’s senior leaders on a routine basis

• Ability to monitor and track reporting requirements to inform decision-making efforts

• Ability to coordinate with members of a team to generate products within strict timelines while adhering to disciplined and systematic processes

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience working within the operations section of a General Officer level staff

• Knowledge of functional capabilities and capacities of units within the U.S. Marine Corps’ Marine Logistics Group

• Knowledge of the Marine Corps Force Generation process

• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team

• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree

• US Marine Corps Operations and Tactics Instructor (0577), Expeditionary Logistics Instructor (0477) or equivalent Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
