Summary

NATURE OF WORK: Assists the City Clerk in the planning, administration, and execution of various duties in connection with the 2026 General Election cycle.

This is a variable hour position which begins September 2026, through November 2026, with hours scheduled between first or second week of September through November 13. During the first few weeks of the election cycle, expect approximately 19–20 hours per week, with hours increasing as Election Day approaches, and decreasing with completion of the election. This role will also require flexibility as hours fluctuate between 20 and 40 hours per week as needed between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position extends into evening work on Election Day and will require work on the two Saturdays before the election from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and the Sunday prior to Election Day.
