QA Manager - Engineering Quality Standards & Services

Business Environment

The Quality Standards & Services department drives all Engineering Quality related activities that are transversal to Amadeus including Methodology, Tooling, Communities and Services.

• The Methodology pillar consists in the collaborative definition and deployment of quality standards with all Amadeus Quality professionals to execute and deliver proper testing and quality activities. As quality takes place all along the software development chain, this pillar also supports all Amadeus Engineering to cover all quality levels.

• The Tooling pillar consists in gathering users’ quality requirements and provide expertise/support for the corresponding tools selection and deployment: Robot Framework, VS Code plugin for TTS, Octane test management suite, …

• The Communities pillar is instrumental to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration and increase efficiency across the Engineering Community for testing and quality matters.

• The Services part of the team provides:

  • Expert audits and guidance to Amadeus organizations to help them reaching the next software quality level: this is the scope of this job offer

  • E2E QA Managers to major Customers Programs or Competency Centers such as the ones of Air Canada, Lufthansa Group, Etihad and Saudia.

  • E2E Testing services and monitoring with the deployment and operation of Amadeus-transversal E2E tests, business oriented, to participate to the qualification of major internal Programs (Curiosity Application Cloud Migration) or Customers gaps’ developments (Air Canada).
     

As QA Management Principal Specialist in the Engineering Quality Standards & Services organization, you will play a key role in maximizing software quality at Amadeus level. You will be in interaction with the various functional organizations in order to guide them towards better quality, from a global perspective (quality all along the software development lifecycle).

In this role, you will use your experience and expertise to:

• assess the level of quality maturity to identify strengths and weaknesses in several Amadeus organizations, including recent Mergers and acquisitions (M&A)

• provide actions plan for the organizations on different aspects of the quality following Amadeus vision and policy to improve their level of quality maturity

• follow-up actual progress and plans made by the organizations

• put in place a feedback loop between the Amadeus organizations and our central department to continuously adjust and improve our recommendations
