 We are looking for seasonal event staff to work at our weddings and events at the John James Audubon Center (Audubon, PA) and Welkinweir Estate (Pottstown, PA). You would be conducting operational tasks during weddings and other events to ensure a smooth guest experience and overseeing the maintenance and cleanliness of these properties. This job is perfect for those with serving/catering or equipment steward experience or those who want to work behind the scenes at event spaces for large events.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Unpacking equipment from our truck and setting up tables, chairs, etc.
• Oversee venue setup prior to scheduled events, tours, and open houses like moving equipment (tables, chairs, setting up firepit).
• Address any maintenance or operational issues that may arise during weekend events (i.e. electrical needs for ceremony areas) and transporting guests in a golf cart around the venue.
• Oversee end-of-night cleanup and closing after breakdown to ensure the venue is returned to its original condition.

Requirements

• Valid drivers license and your own vehicle to drive to our venues or vendor sites.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, walk & stand for 8+ hours, and perform manual labor.
• Comfortable working outdoors rain or shine.

Schedule Expectations

• The wedding season runs from April to November.
• Work is conducted between the days of Thursday to Monday.
• A typical wedding shift is 10 hours, from 1pm to midnight.
