Reporting to the CFO's Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the CFO and the finance team. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including management reporting, CFO communications, board presentations and correspondence, tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic planning. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Finance Operations & Reporting Associate Manager to join our dynamic Office of the CFO. Reporting to the CFO's Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in supporting the CFO and the finance team. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including management reporting, CFO communications, board presentations and correspondence, tracking and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic planning. We are looking for a candidate with strong executive communications skills, cross-functional strategy experience, and a background in high-growth technology companies.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations for the CFO, executive management, and the Board of Directors.
- Support the buildout, transformation, and operational efficiency of the Finance organization.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO's leadership team and business partners to develop and execute Finance strategic plans.
- Drive effective communications to and on behalf of the CFO, Executive Staff, and Board of Directors in partnership with internal and external communication teams.
- Project management, including tracking progress towards high-level strategic goals and KPIs.
- Assist in the development of decision-making models by gathering inputs from various teams.
- Conduct research and prepare reports on topics of interest to executive management and the Board of Directors.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the CFO and Chief of Staff, such as driving strategic initiatives, coordination of quarterly earnings materials, implementing professional development programs, and facilitating team events, leadership offsites, and All Hands meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting or technical field, MBA preferred
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of goal and KPI tracking.
- Proficiency in developing models using Excel/Google Sheets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with executive management and board members.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in a strategic capacity within a consulting firm or Fortune 100 company.
- Preferred experience in technology, manufacturing or transportation industries.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and analysis.
