Cad Designer

Malin is looking for a CAD Designer to join our Systems department. You'll work alongside other CAD designers and team up with sales, engineers, and project managers to design exciting layouts for supply chain and warehouse operations. This position is located in the bustling town of Addison, TX, not far from the Dallas North Tollway and 635.

 

You will be responsible for creating drawings for material handling designs including (but not limited to): racking, mezzanines, conveyors, controllers & sensors, sorting systems and warehouse management systems & controls.  

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• High proficiency in AutoCAD
• CAD certification or 2 years of experience drafting
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field of study
• Knowledge of drawings from preliminary layouts to complete installation drawing sets
• MS Word, Excel and Outlook proficiency
• Customer Service, Technical Design, Communication (verbal and graphic), Organized, Detail-Oriented
• Material handling design experience preferred
