Number 10 internship  

Through the Number 10 internship, you’ll gain hands on experience In what it takes to work within a futbol club in one of the world’s most vibrant and global cities. The program offers structured mentoring, learning sessions, and opportunities to interact with employees across all departments, giving your insights into the diverse roles and operations within the club. This is more than an internship, it’s a unique chance to grow your skills, build your networks and be part of a passionate team.  

Position summary:  

The Fan Services intern will support the execution of strategies aimed to enhancing fan experiences, growing support groups, and building community engagement for Inter Miami CF. Based at the Fort Lauderdale Facility, this role will collaborate with various departments to deliver outstanding experiences for fans and supporters while fostering meaningful connections between the Club and its community. This position will be a one year-seasonal paid internship.  

Essential duties and responsibilities: 

• Act as a Support Liaison Officer (SLO) and assist with La Familia and other supporters’ groups, focusing on game day operations, including tailgating, marches, security coordination, and in-stadium activities.  
• Help ensure compliance with MLS rules and regulations for support activities.  
• Assist in planning and executing meetings between the front office and supporter groups to maintain strong relationships and proactive communication.  
• Support logistics for away game travel and act as Travel Liaison Officer for supporters.  
• Work with ticketing, security, and stadium operations to coordinate logistics.  
• Support Fan Strategy and Experience in implementing initiatives to enhance the game day atmosphere, such as managing fan-facing activations, in-field experiences, and in-stadium giveaways.  
• Collaborate with departments to execute fan engagement program.  
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the membership service team to enhance fan satisfaction.  
• Help coordinate logistics for major events, such as watch parties, tailgates, and player appearances.  
• Provide additional support to VP, Fan Strategy and Experience, and other departments needed.  
• Help create and deliver training materials for gameday operations for way fans, including ticketing, security coordination. 
• Collect and analyze guest feedback to identify trends and recommend process improvements.  

Requirements

• Applicants should be recent graduates or working towards an undergraduate or graduate degree. Undergraduate students should be in their junior or senior year.  
• Passion for futbol is a plus  
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred.  
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). 
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evening, etc.  
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment. 
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
