About the Role

The Sourcing Team at Alight is growing and looking for top talent to add to the team. You will work directly with the Strategic Sourcing Sr. Director to execute strategy and collaborate on new opportunities as they emerge. There’s never been a greater time to join our team, as we are transforming the way we interact with our vendor partners and how we deliver value to our internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating contract commercials for positive outcomes with success measured by cost reduction/avoidance or positive economies of scale.

• Identifying and evaluating potential vendors and negotiating contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.

• Managing vendor relationships to ensure compliance with SLAs, governing agreements and fostering long-term partnerships.

• Conducting market research and staying informed about industry trends and developments.

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions that align with business objectives.

• Monitoring and managing agreements and ensuring adherence to Alight policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, applicable field or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years working in procurement, sourcing, and/or vendor management.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.

• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects/contracts simultaneously.

• Knowledge of SOWs, MSAs, and other agreements.

• Data analytic skills. (PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker are pluses)

• Experience with procurement software and tools. (Workday/Zip/Ironclad are pluses)

• Familiarity with software product lifecycles and vendor management best practices.

• Ability to evaluate specifications and requirements.

• Fundamental knowledge of AI.

• Financial & business acumen.

• Former HR and/or Marketing procurement is a plus but not required.
