As Group Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will deliver a high-quality service to the stakeholders of Nortal, demonstrating a commercial understanding and an in depth financial knowledge of the business and the finance processes. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will focus on planning, analysis, MI delivery, decision support and projects that help modernise our approach to finance. Together with the CFO, you aim to shape the next phase of the team's evolution, ensuring the capability remains relevant, effective and in high demand.
You will work closely with senior managers and convert complex financial information into meaningful insights for key decisions to ensure strategic alignment of priorities and delivery of first-class support to business. Together with the team of local Finance Business Partners/Controllers, you will ensure sound financial decisions are being made which assist the firm in achieving its strategic objectives.
We are looking for candidates from Europe. The ability to travel between Nortal offices is needed.

Key responsibilities include:
- Building and implementing a strong framework for finance business partnering in Nortal globally
- Developing a strong working relationship with managers and finance team members across the business regions, to provide financial and numerical analysis on a variety of subjects
- Being responsible for developing the rolling 12 months financial plans and forecasts and ensuring the performance is delivered. In addition, taking on a major role to support the development of long-term business plans for business regions, including business case development for key strategic investments.
- Developing a process to monitor performance across business regions to identify areas requiring investigation and further analysis, and communicating issues and conclusions effectively to Group Leadership Team
- Coordinating compiling of ad-hoc financial reviews to assess various aspects of the business performance, including deep-dive reviews into various business segments
- Improving management reporting with a purpose of providing best financial information for better decision making
- Providing recommendations for improving finance systems and take part in implementation
- Validating knowledge of Finance Business Partners and Controllers during the hiring process, coordinate onboarding and training
- Communicating with group auditors about issues related to finance business partnering
- Participating in financial due diligence activities in M&A process
- Leading the team of Finance Business Partners, Controllers and Analysts directly and indirectly
Qualifications, skills, experience:
- 10+ years of experience of finance management, business partnering or controlling in the international company having multiple business areas and legal entities
- Solid knowledge and experience of finance business partnering methodologies
- Experience in analysing and building processes for finance and accounting function and manage changes
- Strong financial modelling skills
- MBA or MA Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
- Excellent math and analytical skills; high aptitude for figures
- Strong MS Excel skills
- High level of responsibility, target oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with and influence all types of people in all levels
- Self-motivator, proactive and committed in all aspects of the role
- Ability to work in agile business environment with multiple stakeholdersand competing priorities
- Capacity to make decisions, set priorities and think out of the box
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
Preferable:
- Experience of working within a software development and IT consulting context
- Knowledge of a variety of finance systems
- MS Dynamics and Power BI experience
