About the role:
The Associate Director, People Analytics Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for supporting and managing key projects that enhance our people, processes and technology.
Gartner’s core asset is its people. Our people develop insights, share advice, and create experiences that help our clients be more successful. The People Analytics team derives actionable insight from data to recommend and implement better ways of attracting, developing, and retaining our talent so that we can drive higher sales, more productivity, and better client experiences.
What you will do:
Provide management and oversight of a portfolio of projects led by yourself and by other PMs and Analysts.
Identify, evaluate, and lead opportunities to develop new PM capabilities.
Identify, plan, and develop associated training to maximize the impact of capabilities.
Support overall strategy for People Analytics PMO.
Effectively scope, plan and lead the execution of project-based initiatives covering a broad range of domains with PMO Director oversight and support.
Engage and collaborate with experts across the Gartner business.
Facilitate the activities of global, cross-functional teams.
Partner with key stakeholders to build up our project management capabilities in order to drive globally consistent execution across large scale change initiatives.
Identify, evaluate, and lead innovative improvements to human resources processes and technology.
Manage 3-4 prioritized projects at a time.
What you will need:
6+ years of experience leading and supporting project-based initiatives with a focus on business process technology improvement.
Successful track record of superior service delivery and collaboration in a global environment.
Strong organizational, time, and project management skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience with project management methodologies and helping companies drive maturity in their project management practices.
Consulting experience preferred.
Ability to translate project vision into actionable plans that achieve the outcomes.
Successful track record of synthesizing actionable insights and recommendations based on robust quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Proven ability to use data and business knowledge to prioritize actions that have the greatest impact on business outcomes.
Proficiency with Microsoft applications (specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Experience with Monday.com preferred.
