Under the direction of the Deputy Director of Strategic Planning & Analytics, the Senior Business Analyst collaborates with Health and Human Services Innovation Incubator partners, Enterprise Data Warehouse, contractors and others to ensure that projects meet business needs.  The incumbent will elicit, document and manage business, data and technical requirements for interagency data sharing (i.e., master data management) undertaken by HFS. 

 

The position serves as the primary interface between business stakeholders and the master data management (MDM) team to research data assets and availability, collect and analyze requirements, and identify options that best serve project needs.  The incumbent participates in testing, including writing test plans and test cases for purposes of user acceptance testing, and may present formal presentations to leadership, agency partners and other stakeholders. 

 

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills in addition to strong analytical skills with understanding of market trends and financial modeling.
