What You’ll Do
As a Receiving Forklift Operator, you’ll focus on the inbound movement, organization, and accuracy of materials throughout the facility.
Key responsibilities include:

Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against documentation

Safely transport materials to designated production and storage locations
-
Stage and stock materials based on production demand and schedules
-
Accurately record all receiving and material movement transactions

Partner with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed
-
Perform daily audits and support inventory accuracy
-
Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S and ISO standards
-
Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and actively promote a safe work environment

Participate in safety meetings, training, and continuous improvement activities
-
Support cross-training efforts and assist teammates as needed
What Success Looks Like

Production areas are never delayed due to receiving or material availability issues
-
Materials are put away correctly and documentation is completed accurately and timely
-
Inventory discrepancies are minimized or eliminated
-
Safety standards are followed consistently with zero violations
What We’re Looking For
-
High school diploma or equivalent (recommended)
-
Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
-
Forklift experience preferred - certification completed onsite
-
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with strong attention to detail

Basic math and documentation skills

Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Willingness to learn, cross-train, and support other areas as needed
Physical & Work Environment Expectations

Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift
-
Regular lifting up to 50 lbs (heavier with assistance or equipment)
-
Work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to loud noise
-
Exposure to vibration, moving equipment, and varying temperatures
