The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Plans, organizes and directs the clinical and educational activities of the Respiratory Therapy Department including responsibility for the supervision, development and technical performance of assigned staff.

The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to serve as the Clinical Coordinator for the Pediatric Pulmonary Function Testing Laboratory. This role will collaborate with the Medical Director to oversee staff coordination, training, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include staff competency development, equipment troubleshooting, and implementation of new processes.

Additionally, the role involves performing Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), providing technical support in respiratory care, and educating patients and caregivers. Proficiency in pulmonary testing, oximetry, and capnography is preferred. Candidates should possess a strong clinical background in Respiratory Therapy, including experience with home ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, suction devices, and apnea monitors, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
