Position Purpose
The Manufacturing Engineer – Programming & Integration develops, supports and improves manufacturing processes, specializing in PLC systems and programs, automation integration and controls of processes to ensure efficient, safe and high quality production across JCB operations.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
• Develop and maintain efficient manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot, modify, and develop PLC programs (ladder logic, structured text, function block diagrams)
• Work with HMI/SCADA systems for monitoring and control (e.g., FactoryTalk, WinCC, Ignition)
• Commission, debug, and maintain automation systems on production lines
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI)
• Create and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures
• Support production teams with technical and process issues
• Lead or support continuous improvement and lean initiatives
• Support tooling, equipment and layout development
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements
• Analyse production and quality data to improve performance
• Collaborate with design, quality and supply chain teams where needed
• Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience in manufacturing or production engineering
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience with PLC Systems such as Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000 / RSLogix), Siemens (TIA Portal / Step 7), HMI platforms (FactoryTalk View, WinCC), Industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet) systems.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.
Preferred Qualifications
• Engineering degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ Years experience with PLC Systems such as Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000 / RSLogix), Siemens (TIA Portal / Step 7), HMI platforms (FactoryTalk View, WinCC), Industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet) systems.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Experience supporting NPI or process development
