We currently have an opportunity for a Physical Security Systems Engineer to provide broad-ranging experience of operating and advanced nuclear plant designs including interfaces with systems, equipment, structures, and physical plant arrangement to develop and implement the physical security protection system designs for upgrades to worldwide operating plants security systems.

 

Your Day to Day:

• • Work on teams that support multiple projects related to design, fabrication, construction, and maintenance of large-scale nuclear projects with respect to physical security (bullet resistant enclosures, guard towers, security fences, alarm stations, security computer systems, etc.)
  • Design and implement intrusion detection, surveillance, access control systems, and defensive barriers including preparing specifications, drawings, and reports to satisfy applicable regulatory, code, and/or contract requirements
  • Perform physical security assessments of the physical plant arrangement including critical asset development, threat and vulnerability assessments, physical security system computer and electrical design requirements
  • Provide engineering support  to various global organizations regarding protection and physical security assessments

 

What We'd Like to See in You:

 

• • Expertise with existing physical security systems
  • A military, police, ROTC or similar experience is desired but not required.
