Retail Sales Associate Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Greets all members in a prompt, pleasant and helpful manner, and ensures they receive the highest levels of customer service.

· Maintains a working knowledge of all services offered within the Fitness Center as well as other services around campus.

· Keeps store clean and organized.

· Receives new merchandise, hangs and steams new arrivals.

· Has brand awareness and knowledge to share with customers and meet sales goals.

· Assists Retail Manager with any tasks associated with improving the member experience or club goals.

· Counts cash drawer once at beginning of shift and at end of shift & fills out open/close form.

Requirements

The ideal Retail Sales Associate candidate will possess:

· High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred 

· Must have previous customer service experience/retail experience.

· Must have exceptional multi-tasking abilities and time management skills.

· Must have excellent grammar usage.

· Team player and shows initiative. 

· Ability to work effectively and consistently with limited direct supervision.

· Ability to communicate well with teammates. 

· Must be dependable.

· Must be able to maintain a peaceful store environment while multi-tasking various duties assigned.

· Must be able to handle high-stress situations.

· Must have strong leadership.

· Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
