Electrical Purchasing Manager

Summary of Position:

• Execute purchase requisitions to place Purchase Orders as and when needed and manage purchase orders through invoicing and delivery.
• Maintain accurate open Purchase Order lines with the inbound quantities and due dates from vendors.
• Escalate issues to leadership, commercial or technical partners when required (sourcing team, accounts payable, operations, etc.)
• Support onboarding and training of new suppliers to ensure operational excellence and compliance with Mechanical One’s processes & policies.
• Identify and implement cost reduction solutions.
• Work collaboratively with different departments to ensure the organization's supply chain aligns with the business objectives, delivering high levels of customer service.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain and Operations, Business Administration, Business Management or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years' experience in direct electrical material sourcing, purchasing, inventory management or material planning in a manufacturing and/or construction industry.
• Ability to manage end-to-end purchasing cycle.
• Demonstrated vendor management skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and MS Excel.
