- The Body Shop CSR at Team Chevrolet GMC of Salisbury is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients seeking automotive body repair services. The role involves coordinating repair schedules, facilitating communication between customers and technicians, and ensuring a seamless service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing information about body shop services.
- Schedule and manage appointments for vehicle assessments and repairs, ensuring efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with technicians and service advisors to relay customer needs and repair specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair orders, and service appointments.
- Assist in the preparation of estimates and invoices, ensuring clarity and accuracy in documentation.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Promote additional services and products offered by the body shop to enhance customer experience.
- Uphold company standards for customer service and contribute to a positive team environment.
QualificationsRequired Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Experience in a body shop environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and repair processes is an advantage.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing customer information and documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in resolving customer concerns.
