Description

The Department of Psychiatry at NYU Langone Health (NYULH) is seeking an academically oriented psychiatrist to lead a team of three attending psychiatrists on our 22-bed acute care, voluntary only, Inpatient Psychiatric Unit servicing patients with a range of psychiatric disorders.  Our dedicated team is committed to the highest quality care.  This Unit is also a prime teaching site for NYU psychiatry residents and medical students, who are an integral part of the Team and who on multiple occasions in the past have honored our attending psychiatrists for their teaching.  This exciting opportunity is for those who enjoy working in an academic environment that encourages state-of-the-art treatment and collaboration, and which facilitates professional growth.

Qualifications

• New York State licensed
• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Engaged physicians who are excited about working with and contributing to the education of psychiatry residents and medical students

The position includes a faculty appointment commensurate with qualifications at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine (NYUGSOM).
