Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with leadership to align HR practices with business objectives across the United States, United Kingdom, and Ireland. This role is key to ensuring the smooth operation of our HR function, with a primary focus on managing the employee lifecycle and payroll and benefits administration. You will work closely with our global team and external partners to ensure compliance, efficiency, and exceptional employee experience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR management role, communication skills, and a passion for driving people-centered initiatives in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

This is a full-time home-based position.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HR system (HiBob), ensuring data integrity and swift resolution of discrepancies.
  • Create, distribute, and process employment contracts and other HR documents efficiently.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions across the USA, UK, and Ireland.
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee data, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies quickly.
  • Provide timely support for employee HR inquiries, delivering high levels of service.

Payroll and Benefits Administration

  • Manage payroll and benefits processes, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance across regions.
  • Collaborate with PEO, EOR, and outsourced payroll providers to streamline payroll and benefits processes.
  • Partner with the Finance team on HR-related projects and reporting needs.

HR Data, Reporting, and Compliance

  • Generate reports and analyze HR data using HR and ATS systems to inform decision-making and monitor compliance with policies.
  • Monitor and apply HR best practices, legal requirements, and industry trends, with a focus on the US employment landscape.
  • Conduct regular HR audits to identify improvement areas and ensure compliance with regional and organizational standards.

Collaboration and Process Improvement

  • Work closely with recruitment and other teams to attract and retain top talent while addressing regional nuances.
  • Partner with internal teams to continually streamline and enhance operational HR processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and policies.
  • Design and implement initiatives to foster an inclusive and collaborative workplace culture.

Policy, Culture, and Inclusion

  • Communicate and uphold company policies, promoting alignment with the TM Forum organizational values.
  • Serve as a liaison between teams to ensure consistency in HR practices and communication.
  • Actively champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a culture of belonging and representation.

It is essential for the HR Operations Manager to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, or PHR) are a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a global HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices (ideally within one or more of the USA, UK, and Republic of Ireland).
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones.
