Position Title: Sr Business System Analyst - Salesforce
Position Location: San Carlos, CA or Austin, TX preferred or Remote, USA
The Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Department at Natera is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support the Clinical Trials business function. This position plays a critical role in delivering transformational software that enables conducting various studies by the Clinical Trials organization.
Primary responsibilities of the position include:
- Elicit requirements and act as a liaison between Clinical Trials business function and software developers.
- Understanding the needs of the business processes and translating those needs into well- defined and clearly documented software requirements for our technical teams.
- Work closely with project stakeholders and technical leads to gather user stories and guide the functionality of IT systems across the full software development lifecycle.
- Perform data analysis to understand the way data originates in source systems and how they are transformed in target applications.
Qualifications/Skills
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications, interests and abilities:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum 5 years experience analyzing business requirements within a scientific or laboratory environment OR working in a life sciences company with a desire to learn business analysis skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users to understand their needs, and translate them into requirements for software solutions.
- Ability to work directly with stakeholders to document detailed software requirements, user stories, business processes and software specifications for both custom and out of the box solutions.
- Ability to work as an analyst in all phases of the software development process including requirements gathering, design, implementation, release, and maintenance.
- Ability to work in an Agile software development environment.
- Demonstrated success handling initiatives of high complexity and risk.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to present work, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences including customers, technical colleagues, and management.
- Ability to perform data analysis.

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
