The Senior Financial Analyst - Budgets & Planning will provide financial support for the U.S. Commercial and CS&L teams as a member of the U.S. Budgets & Planning team.
This is a project based role with responsibilities to include financial tracking, reporting and analysis of U.S. business operations, monitoring and/or developing enhanced processes for internal control compliance, financial master data clean up and other financial activities related to Hill’s conversion to the S4 Hana operating system, as well as supporting the development of new tools and processes for budgets and planning.
This position reports to the Senior Director for U.S. Budgets & Planning.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide financial support, including budgeting, financial tracking, analysis and reporting for various U.S. Commercial and CS&L business activities as assigned.
- Exhibit a deep curiosity for understanding business activities to ensure internal controls are operating effectively. Support the development of enhanced controls, processes and monitoring of such as needed. Participate in annual SOX design assessment and testing requirements and external and internal audits.
- Provide financial support for Hill’s U.S. transition to the S4 Hana operating system. This will include activities such as master data clean up and development of new financial tracking and reporting using tools such as DOMO and Snowflake.
- Assist with special cross-functional projects, as needed. This may include support for an enhanced CSiP (Colgate Simplified Planning) tool.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant Accounting/Financial experience
- Bachelor's degree; Accounting/Finance concentration
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets / Technical Systems proficiency
Additional Qualifications:
- CPA / MBA
- Previous Colgate/Hill’s Commercial and/or CS&L Finance experience
- Experience with S4 Hana, DOMO and Snowflake
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong curiosity to learn business activities and financial implications of those activities
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to clearly present financial issues and opportunities
- Ability to manage multiple activities and set priorities
- Demonstrated ability to execute tasks independently
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $91,200.00 - $115,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
