About the role

The fundamental role of this position is to coordinate the project management work associate with the successful and timely introduction of new projects and any changes to existing products, formulas, labels or packages. This position has significant economic impact on the company’s profitability by impacting the determination of new product commercialization timelines and the development of new cost optmization projects. This position will lead cross-functional project meetings, coordinate and represent the interests of all disciplines within the organization outwardly, upkeep of Finished Goods through the Product Change process and coordinate getting new products and changes through the Stage Gate Process. 

The experience we're looking for

  • Project management experience in a manufacturing setting (new product development preferred).
  • Process flow definition & optimization.
  • Proven Experience, Leading new product introduction 
  • Possess project management skills to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to merge with multinational & multicultural teams. 
     

Your responsibilities

  • NPD Project Coordinator needs to build effective partnership with global/regional and local function leaders to effectively implement new Product Initiatives.
  • NPD Project Coordinator will be responsible for leading New Product Initiatives assigned on time and agreed upon cost of goods.
  • NPD Project Coordinator must have an excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills to actively engage with peers, clients, and Line managers.
  • NPD Project Coordinator must have proven leadership skills to drive all New Product initiatives across the site to help us be a reliable business partner.
  • NPD Project Coordinator must assure open collaboration with local and regional functions to meet priorities and identify sources for cost improvements on existing items.
  • Comply with the guidelines of the Quality, Safety, Health and Enviroment Policy, committed to satisfy the requirements of our customers and consumers by delivering high quality products, taking care of our impact on the environment, preventing injuries and deterioration of the health of our employees and visitors, complying with legal and other requirements applicable to our operation, as well as to continually improve our systems processes.
  • Responsible to lead project teams to develop and launch new product initiatives in partnership with commercial project manager.
  • Responsible of the introduction of new products in St. Peters, MO factory as well as modify existing products as per the agreed launch date and agreed upon cost of goods with the coordination of NPD Team. 
  • Manage proper coordination of all activities associated with new product development and product change from inception through project completion, including:
  • Identification and clarification of project objectives and scope
  • Establishment of success criteria for the project.
  • Feasibility studies including cost, capacity and alternative/option analysis
  • Establishment and implementation of project team and timetables as well as a production launch plan
  • Project Coordination/Management through completion
