Financial Accountant

If you love to work with numbers, join our team! As a Financial Accountant, you will be part of the Finance team and support the accounting as well as financial activities of the whole organisation. You will be responsible for gathering and monitoring financial data, maintaining the company's key accounting records and preparing accurate reports and statements.

You’ll contribute by:

• Recording day to day financial transactions and maintaining the general ledger
• Processing and monitoring accounts receivable and payable
• Setting up regular payment run and conducting daily banking activities
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Uploading financial reports to adidas group portals and respective ERP systems
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end and statutory accounts
• Maintaining financial administration and compliance of externally  sponsored programs as well as preparing financial reports to funding agencies
• Business partnering with cross-functional teams to provide internal financial guidance and assure internal financial controls
• Participating in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Providing financial insight and analysis to support decision-making

What makes you the right match:

• Certified Management Accountant (e.g. European Management Accountant, EMA)
• 3+ years of financial accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Accuracy and outstanding organisational skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Interest in further developing personal accounting skills
• Time-management abilities and high level of confidentiality
• Experience with BMD NTCS Business Software ERP System
• SAP experience is a plus
• Good communication and English skills
• Valid work permit to Austria

Salary Information

And here’s the fine print: Compensation throughout the company includes fixed and variable monetary compensation as well as our benefits package. Our fixed salary for this position starts at EUR 50,800 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hours working week).Your actual offer depends on your skill set and experience. As variable component we have a Short-Term-Incentive plan in place.
