Summary
The Associate Director, GTM Strategy & Ops, will lead and optimize the operations of our global expansion efforts, ensuring seamless scaling of Deel’s services into new markets. You will manage cross-functional initiatives, streamline processes, and provide strategic insights to drive operational efficiency. This role requires a strong operational background, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of global expansion in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage operational initiatives for Deel’s global expansion into new markets, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
Develop and implement scalable processes that align with Deel’s growth objectives in new regions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, legal, HR, finance, and product) to ensure smooth market entry and service delivery.
Analyze market-specific operational needs and implement solutions that support localization and compliance requirements.
Oversee the operational aspects of onboarding new international clients and partners, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Manage the coordination of resources, budgets, and timelines for expansion projects.
Drive continuous improvement of operational workflows, identifying and implementing efficiencies.
Provide insights to senior leadership on expansion progress, risks, and opportunities.
Establish KPIs and track operational performance across new regions to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Lead and mentor a team of operations professionals, ensuring professional development and high performance.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in operations management, with at least 4 years in a senior role overseeing global expansion or market entry.
At least 3-5 years of experience managing and leading a team, with a proven ability to guide, mentor, and develop team members in a leadership capacity.
Proven experience managing complex, multi-functional projects in high-growth, global environments.
Strong operational and project management skills, with experience scaling operations across international markets.
Expertise in building and optimizing processes for efficiency and scalability.
Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams (sales, legal, finance, HR, product, etc.).
