Dining Services Associates

Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center has a part time Dining Service Associate position available. This position is 12 hours per week, 4p-7:30pm shifts and every other weekend.

As part of the Dining Services Team at Oakdale Rehabilitation, providing an exceptional dining experience for our residents and patience is very important.  Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are key to be successful in this role. 

Pay Range (depending on experience): $16 - $19.12 an hour. 

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and deliver floor supplies.
• Assist in tray assembly and deliver carts to nursing or dining areas.
• General cleaning as scheduled.
• Properly put away all deliveries of food and supplies
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Serve foods to residents in Dining Room.
• Attend in-service meetings
• Serve PM snack wagon/AM continental Breakfast if indicated.
• Operate the dishwasher using proper methods in sanitizing.

• Accurate tray assembly
• Efficient use of time to complete assigned work.
• Follow departmental procedures including sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.
• Function as a team member.

Education:

• Read, write, and understand English
