The primary function of this Director-level position is to lead Physical Security operations for all Vaxcyte global sites, to include offices, laboratories, clinical/manufacturing sites, etc. This position will develop, manage and grow a high-performing and service-centric team comprised of full-time employees, contingent workers and 3^rd party partners. Beyond functional and technical experience, primary keys to success for this role focus on relationships, culture, trust, forward thought, and operational excellence. We are looking for a curious and empathetic individual who is committed to growth and excellence. This position reports to the Senior Director Facilities.</p> <h3>Essential Functions:</h3> <ul> <li>Develop and mature the physical security function at Vaxcyte, including access control and monitoring, executive protection, corporate physical security and ongoing monitoring of news and events which may impact Vaxcyte’s operations or employees.</li>
