Job Title: Senior Principal Solutions Architect

Overview:

The Senior Principal Solutions Architect is a highly experienced technical leader who plays a critical role in shaping and delivering complex, enterprise-level solutions. This individual serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business requirements into scalable, robust, and secure technical architectures. The Senior Principal Solutions Architect is a strategic thinker who influences technology decisions, guides solution design, and ensures alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Leadership: Provide technical thought leadership and expertise across multiple domains. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the business.

• Solution Architecture: Define, design, and document end-to-end solution architectures that meet business requirements and are aligned with enterprise technology standards. Consider factors such as scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and other architects to understand business needs and develop solutions that address those needs effectively.

• Technical Governance: Establish and enforce technical standards, guidelines, and best practices. Ensure that solutions are developed and implemented in a consistent and maintainable manner.

• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and select technologies and tools that best support the business requirements and align with the enterprise technology strategy.

• Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues and challenges. Propose innovative solutions and provide guidance to technical teams.

• Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior architects and technical team members. Share knowledge and expertise to help them grow and develop their skills.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Experience: 10+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, and solution architecture, with a proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-level solutions.

• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of various technologies and platforms, including cloud computing, microservices architectures, data management, and integration patterns.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues and challenges.

• Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and how technology can be leveraged to support business objectives.
