Position Summary
Our dental segment, HuFriedyGroup, enables dental professionals to reduce risk, improve efficiencies, drive compliance, and enhance patient and staff safety. At HuFriedyGroup, we are committed to helping dental professionals perfect their craft and deliver the highest level of care to each patient. The Warehouse Associate I role is a functional role responsible for performing all required functions needed to pick and pack an order, assemble, ship, and/or receive Customer products while ensuring proper and accurate documentation.
Duties
• Select, check, pack and/or palletize, and label all types of standard orders for shipment.
• Perform highly repetitive packaging, assembly, and/or machine operation.
• Meet department productivity and quality goals.
• Inspects finished goods as they move from packaging to assembly.
• Ensures that all identified damages and/or count discrepancies have been reported.
• Ensures shipment of product within shipping deadline by maintaining contact with internal facility staff.
• Ensures timely receipt or shipment of Customer products by assisting with material handling activities.
• Ensures quality conformance against bills of material as well as visually controlled images.
• Actively participates and supports Lean and Safety initiatives, as well as daily cycle count programs and other directives, when required.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Operate material handling equipment, as needed.
• Contributes to a team effort by performing in accordance with all HuFriedyGroup policies and processes and performs other duties as assigned, to ensure team continuity across all warehouse operations.
Skills/Competencies
• Ability to maintain regular attendance.
• Conversant English skills.
• General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP required (SAP and/or ShopVue preferred).
• Ability to multi-task, adapt to changing responsibilities, and prioritize duties.
• Ability to work under regular supervision, either independently or as a team, in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Requires the ability to navigate through defined computer screens.
• Above average organizing, analyzing, and basic math skills (adding, subtraction, multiplying, and dividing)
• Normal hearing range sufficient to hear alarms, bells, horns, etc.
• Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Ability to be licensed to operate powered industrial equipment in a safe and professional manner (i.e. Forklift or WAV).

2. Up to two (2) year related Warehouse Experience

1. Minimum two years of warehousing or shipping/receiving experience
