JOB SUMMARY
Polaris is looking for an ambitious and experienced Manufacturing Engineer focused on leading Polaris manufacturing facilities on manufacturing fastening torque tools & applications and implementing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) for global Polaris manufacturing facilities. This position will report to the central Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team and will lead plants, IT, lean, quality, maintenance and design engineering to develop systems, best practices, and standards necessary to achieve Polaris business results focused on torque & TPM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define standards for best practices on how to install, configure, and set up torque tools primarily in an assembly environment.
Partner with support teams and facilities to develop & optimize torque systems for efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
Support manufacturing facilities on problem resolution & systemic solution implementation.
Partner with torque equipment suppliers to develop solutions that meet Polaris business needs.
Develop and implement global maintenance strategies and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability of equipment and facilities.
Collaborate with local maintenance teams to promote Total Productive Maintenance best practices and continuous improvement.
Develop and support processes & systems aligned with integrated manufacturing IT solutions to enable efficiency and standardization.
Prepare and present detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for global stakeholders.
Research new processes and manufacturing technology. Coordinate procurement and implementation into manufacturing
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in assembly manufacturing required.
Experience working with torque tools and programming DC torque applications
Proficiency in torque analysis, torque software, and torque testing equipment.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with MS Office.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and mechanic skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong Project Management skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Standard manufacturing environment.
Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.

The pay range for Minnesota is $105,000 to $130,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
