The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lead for South & East Europe capable of providing leadership, direction and vision with the aptitude to drive commercial growth and excellence, as the company looks to grow its innovative medicines business in Europe. This position will report to the Executive Vice President European Commercial and have responsibility for our Main Country Commercial General Managers: France, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic & Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Portugal Hub covering (Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Slovenia, Montenegro, N Macedonia). With responsibility for ~2300 FTEs reporting into EU Commercial (P&L) and indirectly for ~10700 FTEs across business units (mainly TGO) and countries and net sales of ~USD 2.2 billion. You will be a member of the European Leadership Team and manage External Stakeholders and Customers as well as Regional Health/Governmental Authorities.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Translates Teva strategy into European, geography of responsibility and Country priorities
- Develop and communicate a clear and compelling vision for the business aligned with the Teva Pivot to Growth Strategy, Goals and the pharmaceutical industry
- Formulate and execute plans to drive sustainable business growth and profitability
Financial Management & Execution
- Consolidate annual commercial plans to improve overall business and financial results (e.g. AOP and LRP)
Commercial Operations:
- Engage with Gx, Ix and Supply Chain European leaders to align and execute portfolio optimization, CSL improvements and best in class launches and market access
Adaptability and Change Management:
- Lead the organization through transformation and periods of change, adapting strategies to respond to evolving market conditions ensuring for business continuity
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other regional and global leaders to ensure alignment and consistency in strategy and operations
Talent Management & Capabilities:
- Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing and diverse team
Experience & Qualifications
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience including multi-functional, regional or global role experiences, with at least 5 years in a senior commercial leadership role (with significant P and L accountability)
- A minimum of bachelor's degree in life or medical sciences, business or equivalent is preferred.
- Possess general management/strong commercial expertise with the ability to strategize and manage a “complex” business model
- Track record of successful achievements and progression
- Demonstrated success in working in a complex, fast-paced matrix environment in a multi-national company, experience in pharmaceuticals industry is required
