Role Purpose
The Sr. Producer is the main driver of production that liaises between in-house creative team, commercial production companies, and/or show productions. As on-set supervisor of production, the producer oversees the budgetary and physical production needs of the shoot, while also managing network needs, talent, vendors, and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the many Peacock creative teams, to determine production needs in support of creative requests on a project by project basis. Moving between in-house creative teams, production companies, show productions, press, talent, & any other stakeholder teams, to facilitate project coordination and execution
- Own and execute the entire production process for High priority Promo shoots (Video/Digital/Photo) from start to finish, inclusive but not limited to running pre-production, tech scouts, legal/talent and EHS clearances, all aspects of the shoot itself and delivery of all footage/images to the Peacock Media Asset Management Team
- Hire and manage production companies, production services, and/or directors as needed
- Review, negotiate and approve bids from commercial & service production companies
- Estimate and execute Union and Non-Union Talent Contracts
- Understand basics of production legal requirements and work with counsel to create and execute contracts and agreements
- Work with EHS and other Covid related safety teams for all shoots to maintain all safety protocols & guidelines established by NBCUniversal
- Provide additional support for other promotional shoots
- Coordinatate and work with the Peacock Media Asset Management Team for delivery of all shoot footage to the appropriate parties
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4 years experience as a Producer working with project budgets in excess of $200K
- Budgeted out shoots using AICP & standard commercial production lined out budgets
- Demonstrated knowledge of on set production rules and requirements
- Demonstrated Knowledge of IATSE, SAG_AFTRA, and DGA rules and requirements
- Prior experience working with celebrity and non-celebrity talent and talent agents/managers/handlers
- Knowledge of technical aspects of video production, including current cameras and gear, specifications, and post production workflows
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and production budgeting templates
- Prior experience at advertising agency, production company, television or streaming networks
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Willingness to travel extensively, and work overtime and/or on weekends as necessary with short notice
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
