About the role

Full-time, Regular position located in Talihina, OK, but will be tasked with responsibilities between the Talihina and Smithville Community Centers | Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm | Pay: Hourly, starting between $23 - $24 per hour

Weekly earned wage access is an option for this position

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Leverages the time and provides general and administrative support by coordinating many daily activities and functions of the department through a thorough understanding of work methods, priorities, procedures and staff.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Greet guests, answer incoming calls, take messages, and route as needed.

  2. Manage calendar and office activities, schedule appointments/meetings and coordinate arrangements for meetings, conferences, and travel.

  3. Manage departmental requisitions, timekeeping data, and other daily business affairs.

  4. Organize and expedite the flow of work through the department.

  5. Prepare routine and non-routine special reports including gathering and summarizing sensitive and confidential data.

  6. Establish, develop, and maintain highly confidential files and records.

  7. Compose, type, and disseminate letters and correspondence.

  8. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

 

Required Education, Skills and Experience: 

  • Associate degree in business or a position-related field of study and five [5] years of progressive and comprehensive administrative support to a department-level manager, or seven [7] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and the Internet

  • Excellent written and spoken communication, interpersonal skills to influence individuals at all levels within and outside the organization
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects
