An Assurance Associate is responsible for conducting financial and operational audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements. They examine financial statements, accounts, and records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Additionally, they identify areas for improvement in internal controls and make recommendations for process enhancements. They may also assist in the development of audit programs and procedures. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of accounting and auditing standards are essential for this role.

- Conduct financial audits to review accuracy and completeness of financial statements, accounts, and records, in accordance with GAAP and GAAS.
- Utilize data analytics tools to identify trends, anomalies, and risk areas that enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify areas of improvement in the organization’s processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, outlining findings, recommendations, and areas of concern.
- Maintain proficiency in relevant audit and analytics software such as Excel, IDEA, Tableau, or other data visualization and audit platforms.
- Communicate audit findings effectively to management and assist in the development of action plans to address identified issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business processes and suggest improvements.
- Stay up to date with auditing standards, accounting principles, and industry trends.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Travel requirements vary by engagement and client location, with an average of up to 25%. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Work Authorization
Must be authorized to work in United States and able to submit required supporting documentation
Required Education and Experience
- 0-1 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or a related field.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam, including 150 credit hours.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Current and valid CPA license strongly preferred.
- If CPA, must be a member in good standing with the AICPA and respective state societies.
