Great Day Improvements Manufacturing (Macedonia, OH) - Quality Technician

2nd SHIFT - 2p to 10:30p

Pays up to $21 Hourly + Benefits

 

As of the Quality Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring the daily Manufactured products and will assist in leading a lean manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

· Inspecting finished products and raw materials samples using appropriate devices to ensure conformity.

· Performing pre-production and in-production tests of equipment, material, and manufactured products.

· Determining the causes of product defects and proposing improvements to the production process.

· Reading and interpreting blueprints, standards, procedures, and work instructions to comprehend the quality expectations.

· Checking that the production line adheres to standards and procedures.

· Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.

· Communicating with Managers/ Production Supervisors and team members.

· Providing daily reports to the Quality Supervisor.

· Additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

· 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing.

· 2+ years’ experience in QC is preferred.

· Good written and verbal skills.

· Proficient in the use of measuring devices, gauging, and working with close tolerances.

· Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is desired but not mandatory.

· Able to work scheduled overtime on a regular basis.

· Open to work different shifts when needed and as business dictates.

· Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
