The Metal Punch / Fabrication Operator works as part of the production team to assemble and prepare components for storm protection systems. This role involves operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring parts are assembled to quality standards while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Works as part of production team to assemble parts.
- Sorts and places material on items on tables, racks, or bins.
- Assembles long aluminum track used in the assemble of storm protection.
- Uses production machinery to punch, drill and add rubber and felt to tracks.
- General Housekeeping and organization.
- Picks up, moves and sort small parts.
- Uses small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Job is performed while standing.

Required Skills/ Abilities:
- The ability to analyze and solve problems as they arise.

Qualifications
Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in manufacturing.
- Work weekends and overtime as needed.
