Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Level 3 Technician

Are you an experienced Commercial HVAC & Refrigeration Technician looking for a company that values your expertise and provides opportunities for career growth? Kalos Services is hiring a Level 3 Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional capable of independently handling complex commercial HVAC and refrigeration service calls, troubleshooting advanced system issues, and mentoring junior technicians.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5PM Need Flexibility for on call  and finish expected. 40-60 hrs/week 

Compensation: $28.00 - $38.00 hourly rate

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including rack refrigeration, chillers, VRF/VRV systems, and supermarket systems
• Mentor and train junior technicians to enhance team capability
• Execute preventative maintenance and system optimizations for efficiency and reliability
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to ensure proper installation and servicing
• Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication regarding repairs and recommendations

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC and refrigeration service
• Advanced knowledge of commercial refrigeration, supermarket systems, and HVAC troubleshooting
• EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)
• Strong understanding of electrical, controls, and mechanical system diagnostics
• Ability to work independently and provide guidance to less experienced technicians
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
