About the role
Description PingWind is seeking a qualified Delivery Lead (Team Lead) to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), Solutions Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) program. This program is focused on assisting various VBA Lines of Business and Staff Offices by building and delivering tailored solutions using best-in-class SaaS/PaaS offerings at the VA.
The Delivery Lead (Team Lead) will be responsible for leading one or more cross-functional teams (e.g. Product Managers, Testers, Developers) developing software applications (products) for various customer groups within VBA.
• Lead and coordinate project activities, owning the success/failure of assigned projects/products• Develop and own customer relationships with Product Owners and stakeholders of assigned projects/products• Collaborate with Product Manger, stakeholders, and team to identify and clarify business requirements and help build healthy backlog for team• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and discussions among scrum team and assist in removing blockers• Ensure quality of execution, definition of done, and on-time delivery of product• Planning and organizing demos and product testing• Deliver weekly updates to program and senior government leadership on accomplishments, upcoming priorities, dependencies, risks, and issues• Track and ensure the timely creation and delivery of required contract deliverables
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree; 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education• 5+ years of relevant project management experience, including experience with Agile methodologies and facilitating scrum teams• Experience implementing SaaS and PaaS applications (Salesforce preferred)• U.S. Citizenship; Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance• Expert communication and client management skills• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills• Flexible, able to adapt to different customer groups and expectations• Experience working in and with cross-functional teams, preferably developing software• Outcome-oriented approach focused on delivering value to end users backed by measurable, data-driven results
Preferred Qualifications
Formal Agile or PM certificationsPublic sector, VA or similar government organization experienceExperience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)Experience with JIRA or similar project management software
