We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead human resources for a senior living community of 275 employees. This role partners closely with leadership to drive workforce stability, play a key role in retention, and foster a strong, engaged culture.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Wage: $115,000-$130,000 annually
Responsibilities:
· Lead employee relations, including investigations and performance management
· Drive retention strategies and monitor turnover and staffing metrics
· Oversee employee training and development programs, including onboarding and leadership support
· Ensure compliance with employment laws and healthcare regulations
· Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR operations, including collaboration with Accounting on payroll processing, accuracy, and compliance.
· Provide strategic oversight of recruiting and employee experience initiatives
Requirements
· 7+ years of HR experience, including leadership
· Long-term care, senior living, or healthcare experience strongly preferred
· Strong employee relations and compliance background
· Demonstrated success in improving employee retention
· Strong technology skills (HRIS experience required) and highly organized
· Data-driven with the ability to partner effectively with leadership
· SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP preferred (SPHR/PHR also considered)
