Team Introduction

The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.







Responsibilities

Data Infrastructure Development & Maintenance:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data infrastructure to support global business operations.

Develop and manage datasets and data pipelines to ensure data accessibility and reliability, especially for the AMS region.

Perform data cleaning, validation, and troubleshooting to maintain data integrity and accuracy.



Data Analysis & Insights:

Analyze global operational data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and build metric management frameworks.

Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and quality.



Data Visualization & Reporting:

Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Aeolus, DataPower).

Ensure data visualization solutions are user-friendly, accurate, and aligned with business needs.

Provide data support for business reports and presentations to stakeholders.



Tool Optimization & Collaboration:

Drive the iteration and optimization of data tools and platforms to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.

Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data configurations.

Proactively engage in projects and provide data support that require extensive cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration with global operations, especially AMS teams.
