About the role

ABOUT THE ROLE

Peloton is seeking a Senior International Logistics Analyst to join our Supply Chain team. This position is located in New York City and will report to the Senior Manager, International Freight who is based in Peloton’s Corporate HQ in TW/NYC. The Senior International Logistics Analyst is a critical member of the Peloton International Freight Team. This position will be responsible for managing air and ocean freight carriers and developing best-in-class inbound air and ocean operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the international shipping industry with a consistent track record of carrier management. 

 

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON 

● Manage exports from APAC to APAC, EMEA, and AU 

● Manage exports from the US to APAC, EMEA, and AU 

● Manage air freight from door to door 

● Develop KPIs to manage and lead carrier MBRs and QBRs 

● Maintain relationships with ocean carriers, forwarders and other service providers

● Manage non-sellable shipments for both import and export 

● Develop annual ocean and air transportation budget forecast as well as monitor actual spend 

● Maintain and update procedures and SOPs 

● Daily shipment control tower role with managing APAC origin management agent 

● Work closely with Trade Compliance team 

● Provide logistics support of global project to various stakeholders, using different transportation mode to achieve target delivery date based on cost, service and volume forecast 

● Analyze and understand destination port portfolio and impacts to flow 

● Anticipate and improve processes including: 

○ Increasing awareness of the cost and service impact of international logistics on overall supply chain performance. 

○ Relentlessly combating freight rates and accessorial charges 

○ Handling lead time uncertainties and timely delivery changes 

○ Understanding of freight capacity constraints. 

● Understand and develop relationships with the NA and International Transportation and Planning teams 

● Collaborate with other departments to integrate business systems or processes globally 

● Have effective and transparent communications with supporting facts to all internal functions 

● Promote and facilitate the establishment of continuous improvement tools 

● Identify mid to long term logistics needs and trends to support the growth of the business and assist with developing and implementing new logistics models 

● Assist with systems integration and process development for the international freight team 

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO PELOTON 

● Bachelor's degree required - Degree in Business, Analytics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar 

● Detail-oriented, organized; Clear written and verbal communication 

● Minimum 5 years experience in international logistics including managing ocean freight, air freight, and small package shipments. 

● End to end international transportation experience 

● Experience with Logistics Control Tower a plus

● BCO and NVO carrier management preferred 

● Maritime contract experience - RFQ’s, RFP’s

● Excellent Excel and Data Analytics skills 

● Previous experience with logistics related systems or Nexus, E2O 

● Google Suite/Microsoft Office experience 

● Executive presence and ability to translate data into clear action items and insights to senior and executive management 

● Forward thinking with the ability to anticipate disruptions and build contingencies

● Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired results

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
