Vice President, Enterprise Project Management Office

About your role

As Vice President, Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO), you will define and lead the enterprise-wide strategy, governance, and execution model for project and program delivery across Fiserv Technology Services and aligned business units. This executive leader will drive transformation, operational excellence, and delivery consistency at scale, ensuring alignment with Fiserv’s strategic priorities and client commitments. You will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, influencing outcomes across complex, global portfolios.

What you’ll do

  • Define and execute the enterprise PMO strategy, driving alignment with corporate objectives and long-term business outcomes
  • Provide executive oversight of large-scale, complex portfolios, ensuring delivery of strategic programs on time, within scope, and aligned to client commitments
  • Establish and institutionalize enterprise governance frameworks, standards, and best practices across all programs and portfolios
  • Lead enterprise-wide resource strategy, including capacity planning, global staffing models, and workforce optimization
  • Partner with C-level and senior business leaders to align program execution with organizational priorities and transformation initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement and maturity of project delivery capabilities across the organization
  • Own financial management responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization for the PMO and associated programs
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team of PMO Directors and Senior Leaders
  • Champion talent strategy and succession planning, developing the next generation of project and program leaders
  • Act as a thought leader and change agent, promoting enterprise adoption of modern delivery methodologies (Agile, hybrid, scaled delivery frameworks)

Experience you’ll need to have

  • 15+ years of experience in project/program management, including leadership of enterprise PMO functions at scale
  • 10+ years of experience leading leaders (directors and above) within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Proven track record delivering multi-million to billion-dollar, enterprise-wide transformation programs
  • Deep experience with enterprise governance models, portfolio management, and delivery frameworks
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with executive stakeholders (C-suite and senior leadership)
  • Experience leading global teams and distributed delivery models
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred

Experience that would be great to have

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or highly regulated environments
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent executive-level program certifications
  • Experience leading enterprise PMO transformations or large-scale operating model changes
  • Familiarity with Agile at scale frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, etc.)
  • Experience integrating technology and business program delivery across large organizations

How you’ll work

  • This role is aligned to Fiserv’s in-person work model, with expectations for on-site collaboration Monday through Friday. As a senior executive leader, you will work across global teams and business units, requiring a high degree of cross-functional engagement and executive stakeholder alignment
  • There may be up to 10% of travel each year
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment
