Job Description:

University Cancer & Blood Center is hiring for a part-time Medical Assistant. Position is in Lavonia on Monday and Toccoa, Wednesday and Friday.

Job Duties:

• Call each patient back for assigned provider
• Obtain full vitals on patients
• Draw all lab work ordered by provider. Finger stick, venipuncture, etc.
• Room patients or escort to treatment area.
• Clean and stock exam rooms and lab area
• Assist providers in bone marrow biopsies

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
• Previous medical experience preferred.
• Must have the ability to work individually and as a team.
• A positive attitude is a must!
