Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the Business Manager (and other Category Sales team members) with daily activities to drive sales and achieve department and category objectives. Assist the Category Sales team to execute promotional activities prior to event releases and manage data in downstream systems to ensure accuracy
Description of Work
- Prepare promotional event bulletins and send them to vendor partners for verification of details and update systems as necessary.
- Ensure that promotional product information is entered in time and accurately into all necessary systems.
- Review exception reporting for promotional and accrual deals to ensure data across all applicable systems is correct and aligned. Work with vendors and/or category managers to resolve their issues.
- Support the Category Sales teams with various activities including, but not limited to, audit reports, SCM & PCOMM updates, deal adjustments, and pricing billing activities.
- Support AWG Brands Promotions team on event execution process including reviewing information prior to event deal creation and completing deal information in DemandTec for processing into downstream systems.
- Communicates and interacts with cross functional departments (eg. Inventory Management, Accounting, AWG Brands, HGS and divisional sales teams)
- Support Sr. Business Manager in various team projects.

Qualifications
- College degree prefers but not required
- Consumer Products Goods or related industry experience
- Proficiency Microsoft Office and G Suites
