Job Summary:

• Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Vail Resorts and our Housekeeping team is the start of creating that experience of a lifetime for our guests. Responsible for making sure our facilities are clean and meet brand standards, Housekeepers are detail-oriented masters of Hospitality.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $23.00/hr-$26.53/hr
• Employment Type: Year Round

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize and assign room assignments for daily cleaning service to guest rooms as well as common areas and commercial spaces.　
• Inspect rooms, verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms and enter into property management system.
• Submit work orders, as needed
• Ensure excellent internal and external guest experience
• Emphasize safety culture among staff and keep them informed of safety policies and procedures.
• Train new employees on safety, room directions/specifications, stocking carts, and ergonomics.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner　
• Enforces policies and procedures
• Direct and be in charge of department when housekeeping managers are not present.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.　
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Valid US drivers license - required
• 1-3 years of previous housekeeping experience preferred, guest service or hospitality a plus  
• Must be able to communicate in English, bilingual a plus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including split shifts, nights, holidays, and weekends
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 4 hours while consistently bending and lifting
