The Global Logistics, Business Operations Manager plays a strong leadership role in driving internal and external engagement for our net-zero supply chain sustainability program, and in building and executing business operational strategies within the Global Logistics organization.

The Global Logistics, Business Operations Manager plays a strong leadership role in driving internal and external engagement for our net-zero supply chain sustainability program, and in building and executing business operational strategies within the Global Logistics organization. Responsibilities will include the end-to-end management of sustainability engagement efforts across HPE Operations including the establishment of sustainability culture within our 20,000 plus organization, a robust onboarding and training strategy, and strategic communications to stakeholders, team members, and external audiences. In addition, the candidate will support the Global Logistics organization in a business operations shared services role aligned to a leader within the team. Business Operations Shared Services leads assist in areas like workforce management, strategic planning, recognition, communications, and employee engagement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational and execution skills with a flair for creating innovative, thought-provoking content, and the vision to build long term strategies that deliver on identified business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a combination of project management, communications and development experience with a passion for building better work experiences and a sustainable future.

Successful candidate will apply advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and be regarded as a subject matter expert. They will frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods, work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors and lead and/or provide expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. The Business Operations Manager acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Exercises significant independent judgment to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.

Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, development and execution of Communication, Engagement & Cultural workstream within the HPE Operations Sustainability program

  • Collaborate cross functionally to identify needs and opportunities, collect and build material, and coordinate long-term, goal oriented strategies designed to deliver on HPE’s net-zero goals
  • Develop and implement comprehensive cultural roadmap, messaging frameworks and timelines spanning multiple quarters
  • Assume full accountability in content creation across internal and external platforms – website, email, SLACK, ATMs, videos, executive communications, panel sessions, newsletters, Social Media, BeHPE, blog publications
  • Coordination of supply chain content within the Living Progress Report
