Compensation Rate: $27.50/hrWhat you get to do:
• Perform and coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks of assigned rides and equipment.
• Coordinate ride technicians maintenance activities for a particular ride or group of rides
• Must keep working areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Communicate professionally and effectively with ambassadors and guests
What it takes to succeed:
• Have High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years ride technician experience required.
• Minimum of five years verifiable industrial, maintenance experience, automotive, or military, advanced knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and conveyor systems
• Be able to obtain an AIMs or NAARSO Level 1 certification
• Possess a valid driver’s license and able to meet company driving guidelines
• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Be able to work a rotating schedule with varied work assignments and shifts.
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be self-motivated and flexible. Should be able to organize and plan daily tasks with little supervision.
• Possess a general knowledge of ride systems and their safe application.
• Possess a professional quality tool set
• Possess good interpersonal skills and leadership abilities
• This position requires full mobility including ability to walk, sit, stand, stoop, climb, push, pull, bend, and squat.
• Be able to lift items 50 pounds, or more with the assistance of others, safely
• Be able to stand on ladders for long periods of time
• Be able to climb up various heights (300+ feet) on all types of ladders to reach rooftops, roller coasters, etc.
• Be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremes
• Work a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
