About You

We’re seeking a resulted-focused, innovative, self-driven, and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Verification Auditor based out of our Torrington, Connecticut location, you will be responsible for Lot/Pour Verifications on the production floor. Duties will include line clearance audits, Process testing, and over all duties of ensuring product goes out, in spec and per customer expectations. The fundamental goal of this position is to eliminate contaminated or mislabeled product errors from leaving the building (escapes).

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily lot/pour verifications on all operators by following set work instructions.
• Perform line clearance audits with operators at the end of orders, utilizing line clearance check list and procedures.
• Audit and test operators to work instructions for the task they are performing. With the goal of identifying any gaps in our process and work instructions.
• Conduct process audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement
• Know and apply all applicable work instructions and processes for assigned department.
• Properly train operators to follow work orders, batch sheets, and work instructions when needed.

• Drive lean manufacturing principles and process improvement
• Provides ongoing feedback to operators and team members for correct process functions and tasks.
• Partner with the quality team on investigations and tasks to help identify and prevent escapes.
• Complete delegated assignments in a timely fashion (by dates established).
• Works within the boundaries of ISO procedures.
• Demonstrates professional work ethics always.
• All other tasks delegated by the Manager

• Communicate gaps and failures to the Supervisor of the set department.
• Works with team to take corrective action on customer complaints and concerns.

Requirements

You should have:

• HSD or equivalent required
• Proven track record of high-quality standards
• 2+years’ experience working on the production floor
• 2+ years of working in a quality support role preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in the chemical industry preferred
• Good math skills required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills

Regular Hours: Monday - Friday; 5 AM - 1:30 PM

Salary: $24 -26

Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range. The range listed is just one component of our company's total compensation packages for employees.
