About the role
<p><br/></p><p>The Senior Lead Global Transport Plan is part of the team that is responsible for the design, adaptation and communication of Eurostar Group’s transport plan in order to deliver a transport plan that supports delivering the revenue, volume and any other company objectives. </p><p>Internal use only: Grade F, Travel Level 4 - based in London/France/Belgium</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>We are looking for someone who ...</strong></p><ul> <li>Is responsible for the definition, adaptation and communication of Eurostar Group’s annual transport plan, along with Operations, Fleet and Station planning stakeholders responsible for enabling the supply as well as with Revenue Management to ensure supply matches demand profiles, in order to maximise revenue opportunity alongside a cost-efficient transport plan. </li> <li>Responsible for the “translation” of Eurostar Group’s transport plan into commercial inputs, with inputs to be delivered to the Revenue Management and Inventory Data Loadings teams, in order to be able to sell the most up-to-date and accurate transport plan. </li> <li>Will oversee transport plan adaptations for Eurostar Group, in collaboration with Operations and Rolling Stock planning teams using their information as input but guiding a commercially optimal solution, and communicating any changes to the Customer Communication team and the company more widely, in order to ensure the transport plan reflects the latest operational plans, and that these changes are widely known to customers and to colleagues. </li> <li>Participate in and lead various timetable governance, bidding and forums, alongside key stakeholders, in order to ensure a clear decision-making process around timetable design that secures the commercial agenda, and to push for Eurostar Group’s interests externally. </li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>You will….</strong></p><ul> <li>Have experience of managing a transport plan or schedule at a railway, airline or transport company </li> <li>Have experience of working in a similar role</li> <li>Have experience of managing a team </li> <li>Be experienced in presenting to senior stakeholders in a clear a precise manner</li> <li>Be comfortable negotiating with other (operational) departments, and representing your department’s interests in cross-company forums </li> <li>The ability to use Excel, including manipulation of data </li> <li>The ability to use Jira, Confluence or similar systems </li> <li>Have understanding of high-level commercial requirements for the transport plan, and being able to liaise with commercial and operational stakeholders alike to achieve optimal outcomes for the business</li> <li>Advanced level of English and French </li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>(Internal use only: Grade F, Travel Level 4 - based in London/France/Belgium) </strong></p>
