Sr. Integration Engineer

Mission

As a Senior Integration Application Developer, you will be joining a growing team that supports best in class SaaS business applications and working with other integration and systems engineers to support scaling our business operations. You will design and build Databricks SaaS integration infrastructure as well as improve the operation and maintenance of our existing integration systems through iterative upgrades, streamlining, and adoption of standard methodology. You will also support company-level initiatives for transforming Databricks business processes and provide integration expertise and solutions.

Outcomes

• Works closely with business and application stakeholders to gather data integration requirements
• Translate business requirements into good technical data designs, and maintains technical specification documentation for all processes
• Build solutions integrating across enterprise SaaS systems like Salesforce (Force.com), Workday, NetSuite, Marketo, and JIRA
• Offer meaningful perspectives on integration design patterns, concepts, alternatives, and best practices

Competencies

• 5+ years of demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, and supporting innovative Enterprise integration solutions and meeting business requirements
• Experience with, any of the iPaaS such as Workato, Mulesoft, Boomi is a must
• Experience of Active Directory, configuring of Single Sign On, LDAP & SAML based frameworks
• Experience developing, profiling, and troubleshooting Java applications, including experience with JEE, JMS, and Tomcat
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying public and private APIs using SOAP and REST
• Experience in RDBMS and Distributed databases
• Proficient in modern SaaS dev ops and CI/CD tools and operating environments
• Programming experience in Python or Scala
• Experience with big data tools, such as Spark, a plus
• Familiarity with agile methodologies for enterprise SDLC across service development, security, deployment, maintenance, operations, monitoring, and updates preferred
